I seen more of the new Adventures He-Man on TV here than MOTU. Oddly enough on ITV here they aired the first five episodes together as a movie but for screen used at the start and end of the commercial breaks they used an image from the FILMation He-Man. Speaking of that, there used to be He-Man chocolate bars here and the wrapper was all new adventures imagery but the chocolate featured a FILMation design characters.

Cool. Have you seen the new NECA Rambo movie figures? They look amazing…same with most of the NECA figures of Predator, Alien etc.

Figure look good but that a stand alone line of just Rambo a no other characters from the Force of Freedom cartoon so for that reason I’ll pass it.
Yeah. I believe they did a SDCC Exclusive Rambo that featured card art etc like the Force of Freedom toys.
Personally I think NECA make beautiful figures but are quite prone to breaking. Still if they have been updating their Terminator figures with more articulation. If they could get around to redoing the Arnie Conan figures with more articulation I would definitely one…or two. 
NECA is a company that do one shot figures and that’s it so we get a Rambo but no other characters, we get Robocop but nothing else but more of the same character with different colors…
That isn’t technically correct. In the Rambo movies case though there isn’t really that many interesting characters that I think people would want figures of.
But in their Robocop line they made ED-209. Street Fighter had 6x characters. Rocky had 5x characters. Terminator had a few characters and their Alien line aside from the multiple aliens has Ripley, Nash and Dallas.
I think if they did get around to doing a proper Conan line they could do a couple Conans, Thulsa Doom, Valeria, Subotai, Wizard, Thorgrim, Rexor, Princess and Wolf Witch.

Having said that though, NECA figures are quite prone to breaking easily. of the several NECA figures I had 50% had QC problems.
I wasn’t aware of that with the other lines.
I remember the HASBRO toy line for the Conan the Adventurer cartoon. Those figure were too big. I remember buying all the figures from another collector and when I got it in my hands I said these are way too big and looked more like figures for little children s… I put it on sale after that.

I used to have that exact Conan figure. It was the first and only figure from that cartoon I got. Personally I liked them. But I got it in a shop quite far away from where I live and that was the only shop I ever seen them in then of course at that time the Power Rangers onslaught was hitting the shelves so Conan and Skeleton Warriors didn’t really have much of a chance. What I liked about the Conan cartoon and toys was that they were similar to MOTU and Thundercats. I remember using Conan as a Barbarian to fight Lion-O quite a bit.

I liked the cartoon and as a matter of fact I have the DVD’s of it. The toys did not convince me at all. Kind of reminds me of the Mega Blocks…
By the way I was able to see Conan the Adventurer for he first time in 1997.
Did you ever see or own the MOTU Classics figure of Vikor which is basically Conan but couldn’t be called Conan for legal reasons. 
It was based on an “early sketch” of He-man.

Yes, I saw it but didn’t buy it, because for me the right version of Conan is the one from the Conan the Adventurer cartoon. I have all the episodes, I like the stories the characters and what they represent. For me that was a good cartoon that I would love to see the figure re made in a better way than the originals… The Vikor figure is more like the comics and the savage version of Conan that was not intended to please all ages. Conan the Adventurer is the kind of cartoon you can enjoy with kids (if you have any at home) without compromising moralistic values.

I would love to see some MOTUC style Conan the Adventurer figures. I know some people don’t like it but I have fond memories of that cartoon. To me it was one of the last great cartoons in the genre of He-Man and Thundercats etc battling against the crap cartoons and kids shows of the 90’s LOL.

Love the calm yet stern look that I always wanted, still not all cartoon accurate likeness but it’s a great improvement. Digging the improved body skin tone too.

Love it. I think the suit could be a tad darker, but that’s just me nitpicking. They even rotated the cat on the sword!
Lovin’ the update to Lion-O. I wish his claw was a little less rough/more streamlined, but I’d certainly buy this version.
I love this Lion-O figure. It’s much better than the prototype one.
Its nice to see that they are listening to the fans. I am really really digging this revision. I can wait to have one of these in my possession. Sign me up!!
