Aside from the main heroes, villains, companions, berserkers and the dozen or so characters that never got toys I wouldn’t really have much interest in anyone else.
Reading a post over @ He-man.org and someone brought up a very good point that completely slipped my mind, those of us with only a club third earth subscription won’t be able to purchase the SDCC Exclusive from Matty. If they offer it for early access you can guarantee ir will be sold out instantly. Early Access doesn’t start for Club Third Earth members until September. What a disaster.
They might sort something out for the SDCC exclusive.
i can see the exclusives costing a fortune on ebay etc if we don’t get early access .:frown just what we need .
No expert on MOTUC but I know other SDCC figures from other companies and toylines are not to hard or expensive to get.
I just did a close up and I think their are pretty accurate like his eye view in the cartoon… No complains here for me.

Interesting. A bit over priced, not too bad, but definitely not worth that price. At least they aren’t exactly A list characters. D list would probably be too generous LOL.
Problem with Thundercats being such a smaller line and this being the first year the exclusive needs to be a recognisable character fans want, but not one that is so essential that they won’t repaint or release again later on like King Greyskull and Orko etc.
A red Lion-O or an Invisible Tygra or Spirit Jaga and Grune set would be a cool SDCC exclusive.
I really hope Matty addresses this concern sooner rather then later. Scary to think we could miss out on “our” line’s first exclusive.
this is what i don’t want to happen but it will as people will buy them to make a quick buck .
Can those with a MOTU sub buy multiples of the exclusive? If it comes to it I would be willing to pay someone in advance to order an extra for me
LOL. You do realise it is that mentality that has basically kept the MOTUC subscription line going. 
I don’t think Mattel is going to let down the subscribers on that one so I think is just speculation about us (Subs) not able to get that exclusive before sell out…
When MOTUC started I don’t recall the subscription method being in place and they only people that got King Greyskull was to get him from SDCC. They technically released a superior King Greyskull a couple years later so I think it will probably be the same for Thundercats.

I had a TMNT Classic Donatello that had a similar problem but it wasn’t really noticeable.

yes i get what you are saying . it would be annoying tho to miss out on a exclusive because people buying ten of them just to sell on .
The Transformers SDCC toys are the same. People grabbing them just to deprive others of them, then sticking them on EBay for astronomical amounts.
Sad that people buying things just to deprive fans of it so they can make extra money.
I remember there was a massive up roar a while back because Hasbro were re-releasing a G.I. Joe Convention Exclusive set because so many people missed out on it the first time and the sets were being sold for crazy prices.
It’s really childish that people would get so upset that they would lose their bragging rights. Like they didn’t even care about the set in the first place, they just had it so they could say that had something few others could say they had in their collection and complained at how their investments were not worth as much now to sell on.
i suppose it is just life people try to make money anyway they can . i just hope the true fans get there figures

I don’t like the term true fans. But I hope people that actually like the cartoon and the character get the figure and are happy with it.
