Does anyone know if the 2017 subscription will have monthly or bi-monthly figures?

Mattel hasn’t announced anything yet but I’m sure we will get some news as it gets closer to SDCC.

Hmm…I really hope 2017 isn’t bi-monthly.
I don’t..I’m torn. As much as I would Love a monthly sub, I’m already subscribed to the MOTUC lines and have a full Thundercats line would kill the bank account!
How far in advance do they open subs? Obviously this one opened in January / Feb for release in September only - so that’s like 7 or 8 months before the time. If they do announce the 2017 line up - perhaps they will also do so at SDCC. Not sure how much time they need before hand. We’ll already be signing up for the 2017 line up before receiving the 2016 figures… Not that I mind. Gimme ThunderCats!!! Ho!

In the past Mattel has opened subs for the coming year during SDCC. They like to blow us away at the con then immediately take all of our money.

Yeah the sales for the 2017 subscription will open in July around the time of San Diego Comic Convention. However we will have the 2016 SDCC exclusive in the hands of some fans during the sign up period which will give us our first look into the quality of the figures. Hopefully the SDCC exclusive is an home run as the quality on that will help sell the 2017 line.
Not sure if there has been a thread started for packaging, but after seeing some video reviews as well as purchasing the new He man 2.0…i hope the package dosnt have that slanted top…the artwork is beautiful, but as one reviewer pointed out u cant hang it cause it has no peg and u cant stack it cause of the slanted top…so over all it lts well intentioned not so amazing execution…perhaps if the top had been flat…i personally hope they go with throwback to the vintage card…wondering what are everyone’s thoughts are on this??
Vintage style card or a box similar to the Star Wars Black series figures would look/display and store nicely.
This was shown at SDCC as a list of possible ideas…but doesn’t mean its going to be one of them.

Saw those…its hard to really favor any with no colors…im open to any as long as it meets certain (personal) criteria
-it has a clear bubble to be able see the figure…better than the he man 2.0 which came out a little dark while in the box…i prefer the original motu package that allowed you to see a lot of the figure while in the package
-i would like somewhat of the vintage look/colors of the LJN packaging…
I plan on leaving mine in the packages, so I am very interested to see what they have in mind. I would prefer something that really shows the figure and accessories. I also am hoping for boxed as opposed to carded. Any homage to the LJN Classic packaging is a plus!

yeah, anything resembling LJN would be cool…its important we voice what we want cause Mattel/FH have been so nice about listening to what fans want…
